ONE CENTRAL MACAU is proud to present ARTECH, a first-of-its-kind AI Art & Technology Exhibition series in the Greater Bay Area. Featuring artworks from renowned artists in Asia and beyond, the first exhibition in the series Starry Night Garden will be held at One Central Macau from May 25th to July 31st, 2023. With the support of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), this exciting new art and cultural attraction will promise to dazzle visitors with world-class phygital art pieces, highlighting Macao’s allure as a premier travel destination, and making it a new hub for large-scale AI Art & Technology showcase in the Greater Bay Area.

Exhibition Highlights
- Organised by ONE CENTRAL Macau and curated by Art Prince Advisory, ARTECH – Starry Night will present Full Moon and Blossoming Flower, a 360° immersive AI art space created by William Lim, Hong Kong renowned architect, artist and collector, in collaboration with award winning creative agency Kaiju Matter. Making use of architecture and nature, the shift of the weather, the change of the seasons, and the concept of feng shui, William Lim utilises his classic oil paintings Flowers Good Moon Round (2023), Ode to the Wandering Son (2023), and Journey Home (2022), to create a colourful and dreamy immersive paradise, hoping to bring joy and blessings to all with this intimate and memorable experience.
- The exhibition will also debut the VG39 digital art series, the world's first limited edition of “phygital” artworks certified by the Van Gogh Sites Foundation, presented by Hong Kong-based web3 company Appreciator.io in collaboration with the Van Gogh Sites Foundation of the Netherlands., aimed at promoting arts and culture through innovative technology and raising funds to preserve cultural heritage.
- In addition, ARTECH will present a metaverse creation art zone designed by INDEX GAME, the first metaverse experience creation company in Hong Kong accredited and invested by The Sandbox; a special exhibition of pop art by SHOUT Art Hub & Gallery, Hong Kong; a showcase of Transformers Movies AR games; and multimedia artworks by renowned Hong Kong digital artists Henry Chu, Ryan Sun, Hector Chan Wai Kit, Gary Lam (No1Place), Zenda Tse, and Vanessa Tao, etc.
- ARTECH will also introduce a unique AI workshop to Macau’s audience to enhance and deepen the experience. The workshop is about artificial intelligence techniques for image generation, using AI to create characters and personas. It will introduce deep learning techniques to generate images and focus on how to create specific styles of images, and learn to apply it to your own models using Van Gogh style as an example to create.
